How it works
If you contact our ophthalmological emergency service, we follow a clear and efficient care protocol:
- Call our emergency phone number.
- Appointment at our clinic or video consultation.
- Examination by an ophthalmologist to establish a diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate treatment, whether medical or surgical.
- Additional diagnostic tests when necessary to ensure an accurate diagnosis, such as vision assessment, optical coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasound, radiological studies, or fluorescein angiography.
- Scheduling a follow-up visit, if required, in order to provide definitive discharge.
